Carin Rodenborn is a visual artist and writer who makes painting-objects, installations, ephemeral drawings, and text-based works. Both her visual work and writing explore collage as a way to make something whole out of something that had become fragmented. She received her MFA from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, and has taught studio art and cultural studies courses at colleges and universities across the United States. She also holds an MA in Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University, and is passionate about working with and supporting the well-being of creative folks, including: visual artists, writers, poets, musicians, performers, designers, and artists engaged in emergent disciplines.
She lives and works in Rhode Island.
